Johnnie didn’t perform as expected

Bonham Auctions reports that the Johnnie Walker 1805 that they earlier expected would sell for £16,000 or more didn’t even go for the reserve price of £12,000.

“The vendor may enter it into another sale with another reserve price or it may be that somebody comes along post-sale, but it is out of our hands.” Says a spokeswoman from Bonham.
