The Chivas Life Channel Offers Global Adventures and Uncommon Experiences to Online Viewers
Chivas Regal became the first spirits brand to launch an online channel, hosted by MSN.com. This channel was inspired by the ;The Chivas Life Ambassadors” search, in which two dynamic, passionate people are sought out, chosen, and paid $200,000 to report on their travels throughout world, in search of the Chivas Life.
“With the vast expertise behind MSN, we have developed original programming that demonstrates a true Chivas Life experience,” says Craig Johnson, Brand Director of Chivas Regal at Pernod Ricard USA. “As the first spirits brand to launch an online channel, it is our intention to give the web adventurer tools to seek out and enjoy the moments and experiences that define The Chivas Life.”

Sometimes I end up bringing a new bottle home to my Whisky collection with only the design of the bottle in mind. I have never tried the Pendleton Whisky from Canada. But one thing is for sure, next time I pass one I’ll buy one.
Damn good looking bottle. Found it while searching for something.
(Yeah yeah, I know…but I’m more of an explorer than a purist)
Short on Pendleton
Pendleton is an oak barrel-aged whisky distilled in Canada using the finest ingredients. Before bottling, Hood River Distillers in Oregon adds only the purest glacier-fed spring water from Mt. Hood (Oregon’s highest peak). Pendleton delivers an uncommonly smooth taste and a rich, complex flavor.

Pendleton Whisky was specifically created to celebrate the bold spirit of independence and hard-work ethic of the American cowboy and cowgirl. It’s borne of the rich tradition of the nearly 100-year-old Pendleton Round-Up, one of the most prestigious rodeos in the world. Each Pendleton Whisky bottle prominently features the rodeo’s famous bucking horse symbol and Let’er Buck slogan.

The Famous Grouse Experience, located at Scotland’s oldest working distillery in Crieff, has achieved the ‘Investors In People’ accolade for the first time. It is the first time that the visitor attraction has applied for the award.
Jeremy Speirs, general manager, The Famous Grouse Experience, said: “Being recognised as an ‘Investor In People’ is a fantastic achievement for the business and employees. It recognises that the team is our most important asset and confirms that the structure, training and communications we have put in place over the last 18 months, meet the highest standards.
An inspector visited The Experience and interviewed a cross-section of employees as part of the evaluation process.
>Peter Russian, chief executive of Investors in People Scotland said: “It is a fantastic achievement for The Famous Grouse Experience to gain the Standard. Everyone involved in the process has demonstrated continued commitment and enthusiasm and the management team has demonstrated a fundamental belief and commitment to its employees.

This Bruichladdich 18yrs bottling, designed by Jim McEwan to produce a well rounded, compelling dram, seeks to move the debate forward, to challenge the orthodoxy.
Matured for 18 years in Quercus Alba oak bourbon casks the suitably aged whisky was selected for an additional cask evolution (ACE) for several months in premium quality Quercus Robar, French-made oak casks. The premium quality casks were used first by the Austrian maverick Willi Opitz, the engaging, slightly mad, wine grower.
Fans hooked on Sherry cask whiskies will be intrigued by this bottling. While less golden in colour, there are certain similar traits. But here is more complexity, finesse and fruit flavours thanks to the French oak and the totally original ‘straw wine’.
As with all Bruichladdish whiskies, it is uniquely on Islay unchill-filtered, colouring-free, and with Islay spring water.
It’s available now in the Bruichladdich online store.
