Ardbeg has released a limited edition named Mór to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their 1997 renaissance.
The size of the Mór, priced at £350, is the equivalent of more than six bottles of 10 Years Old, but here bottled at cask strength (57.3% ABV). In Gaelic, Mór means ‘big’ or ‘magnificent’. Each one weighs 6.5kg (14lb) and is 52cm (20.5in) high.
There are 1,000 bottles available around the world. 100 of those are available through the Ardbeg distillery.
Due to its size, Ardbeg cannot take orders for Mór Ardbeg online. To buy and arrange delivery of a bottle, contact the Ardbeg distillery on +44 (0) 1496 302244 or click here to contact them via mail.
