The third issue in the Preludium range, Mackmyra Preludium:03, was awarded a Silver medal (Best in Class). The two other bottlings at the event also won prizes: Mackmyra Preludium:04 and a bottled Mackmyra Reserve were awarded Silver medals

“This is proof once more that our young whisky is maintaining a high quality,” says Magnus Dandanell, MD and one of the founders of Mackmyra Svensk Whisky. “This is the second time that one of our whiskies has won a Best in Class silver medal at the IWSC.”

Preludium:03 - Sherry and Swedish Smoke is the third issue in the Mackmyra Preludium range. The basic flavour of Preludium:03 comprises Swedish malt whisky matured in sherry casks, spiced with Mackmyra’s special recipe smoked over a juniper and peat fire.
