Yesterday I pressed the ‘publish’ button and launched the new WhiskyGrotto community – devoted to thoughts on the world of Whisky and Whiskey. And now there’s a new menu option reading Community up to the right on this blog.
I’ve started the whole thing quite simple and used a tool called BBpress. This means no fancy profiles, no chat, no applications – basically no facebook just a very simple and user friendly way to share thoughts and ideas about whisky. If I see that this turns out well who knows where it will take us. It’s simple, if you know something that you think other people should know. Head into the community and register – start posting away.
