Glengoyne Distillery has launched its first ever miniature pack containing the award winning 10, 17 and 21 Years Old Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Ideal for specialists, gift and travel retail markets, the black and gold branded tin with solid plastic window safely stores three 5cl bottles of Glengoyne’s core range, each snugly held in place by a circular black foam base. Inside the pack, a small distillery booklet provides further information on Glengoyne’s 175-year history.
The decision to introduce a miniature pack follows extensive market research by the brand owners, Ian Macleod Distillers, which revealed a strong consumer demand for a miniature collection of Glengoyne’s core range. The robust design of the packaging reflects the customers’ need to protect the product when traveling, while the 5cl bottles and compact tin provide a practical solution to certain luggage restrictions.
Iain Weir, Marketing Director at Ian Macleod Distillers commented: “The miniature pack is the perfect introduction to Glengoyne and we expect it to be an excellent recruiter to the brand.”
The new Glengoyne miniature pack will allow customers to experience the character of Glengoyne while appreciating the differing characters of the 10, 17 and 21 Years Old Single Malts.
The Glengoyne miniature tin pack will be launched worldwide in July, RRP in the UK is £15.99 ($31.99) and will be available to buy in most good whisky retailers or online at www.glengoyne.com.

Ian Macleod Distillers is adding a new finish to its range of award-winning single malts, with the launch of Glengoyne Glenguin Shiraz Cask Finish 16 Year Old.
The casks, previously used to mature award-winning Shiraz wine from Australia’s Hunter Valley, have come courtesy of Glenguin Winery. Lord Robin Tedder, who is in fact the third Baron of Glenguin – which was the original name of the whisky distillery known today as Glengoyne, established the Glenguin Estate in 1988.
It is 100 years ago since Glenguin Distillery’s name change to the more phonetic Glengoyne Distillery and to celebrate this and the Tedder link, 20 empty Shiraz casks were filled with 16-Year-Old Glengoyne in autumn 2007. These casks were very carefully monitored on a weekly basis and only ten were chosen as Glengoyne Glenguin Shiraz Cask Finish.

“Glengoyne Glenguin Shiraz Cask Finish completes the circle on a fantastic history between Glengoyne Distillery and the Tedder family, a link from old world to new that has lasted over 100 years and continues to the present day. We are delighted that the exceptional quality and packaging of this unique whisky befits the high standards the Tedder’s have always set in public life,” said Iain Weir, Marketing Director.
Available in 70cl and 75 cl bottles at 48% ABV, 3,800 limited edition and individually numbered bottles of Glengoyne Glenguin Shiraz Cask Finish will retail worldwide for a standard recommended global retail price of £60+/€75/$120.
