Hedonism available in Sweden

I’m glad to tell you Swedes out there that Compass Box Hedonism is now available in… you guessed it – Sweden

I wrote a couple of weeks ago about Compass Box Hedonism. Compass Box is one of my personal favorites. I’ve got 7 different bottlings at home at the moment. None of them has failed to please me. If I would have to pick one it would probably be the Peat Monster.

So far I’ve ordered them all from Compass Box own website. But know I’m really happy to learn that Clydesdale, probably Sweden’s best whisky retailer, has made this magic potion available at Swedish Systembolaget.

Either you order the Hedonism at Clydesdale’s own website or you basically walk into any Systembolaget and place an order. I do recommend the Clydesdale website though as you’ll probably end up finding more interesting stuff.

Hedonism 2008 Bottling Released

Following up the 2007 Hedonism that won the World Whiskies Award for World’s Best Grain Whisky, Compass Box has announce the release of the 2008 bottling.

The stuff that floats inside the Hedonism is choosen from different ages and from different distilleries to achieve a balance of flavour characteristics: depth and complexity from the 20 to 30 year-old whiskies, and sweetness, fruit and structure from the 13 to 20 year-old whiskies.

According to Compass Box, on average, the 2008 Hedonism is over 20 years-old
